There is a worldwide movement for renewal in economic thinking and education. Large and growing networks of students and early career scholars include Rethinking Economics, oikos international, Netzwerk Plurale Ökonomik and the Young Scholars Initiative. These networks hold frequent gatherings and have support staff working to help local chapters work more effectively.
Organisations such as Our New Economy, the Institute for New Economic Thinking, Economics in Context, CORE and Exploring Economics are building new teaching materials. Promoting Economic Pluralism is an accreditation scheme for masters courses that take a pluralist approach to economic teaching, and publishes the MINT magazine. Evonomics publishes leading new perspectives on economic questions.
